Minecraft.timashley.me Server running Minecraft version 1.0!

The minecraft.timashley.me minecraft server has been getting really fun lately. Lots of new users and project going on. New towns using the Towny server mod have been created and we even found a stronghold!

We've successfully been running the latest version, 1.0, with all of our bukkit plugins, for the past month with no issues what-so-ever.

Windows

1) Download and Install Java

http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

2) Download minecraft launcher

http://www.timashley.me/files/minecraft_launcher.jar

3) Run (double click) minecraft_launcher.jar

4) Enter the username you want to use, check "Force Update" and click "Enter Game"

5) Minecraft will update and download packages

6) Minecraft version 1.0 will open

7) To connect to our Multiplayer Server, click "Multiplayer".

8) Click "Add Server"

9) Enter a Server Name, and Server Address: minecraft.timashley.me

10) Click "Join Server"

Linux:

1) Download and Install Java

# sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre

2) Download minecraft_launcher.jar

# wget http://www.timashley.me/files/minecraft_launcher.jar

3) Run minecraft.jar

# java -jar minecraft_launcher.jar

4) Enter the username you want to use, check "Force Update" and click "Enter Game"

5) To connect to our Multiplayer Server, click "Multiplayer".

6) Click "Add Server"

7) Enter a Server Name, and Server Address: minecraft.timashley.me

8) Click "Join Server"
