The other night i was reminiscing about the old IRC days when i would leech a mass amount of 0day warez from various IRC channels. When i was using mIRC on Windows, i coupled it with a bitchin' XDCC bottler script called XDCC Browser. When i attempted to find the "linux alternative" for XChat, i was sad to find out no real 'Crème de la Crème' of XDCC bottlers for it. This brought me to another stand alone solution for XDCC downloading with ease on linux, XDCC-Fetch.

What is XDCC-Fetch?

XDCC-Fetch, written entirely in Ruby, is an intuitive, no-nonsense tool for searching, collecting and downloading XDCC announcements within IRC channels.

Amarok is a free software music player for Linux and other varieties of Unix, as well as Windows since version 2.0 (through KDE for Windows). It makes use of core components from the K Desktop Environment, but is released independently of the central KDE release cycle.
